Help PC(USA) #EndCashBail
Help to #EndCashBail by joining in solidarity with the Louisville chapter of THE BAIL PROJECT.
Jails are full of people being held on minor offenses, unable to pay cash bail. Many people have no ability to pay bail for even minor offenses and this has been a driving force in the increase in mass incarceration over the last 15 years, resulting in job loss, mounting fines and child custody issues.
The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) is calling for an end to the cash bail system which unfairly criminalizes poverty.
